Traditional building design was largely reliant upon two-dimensional drawings, (Plans, Elevations, Sections, etc..) where potential problems like inaccurate and/or lack of information on the design drawings causes delay and cost increase. At SCE Detailing Group Inc., we provide high quality, cost effective and time bound steel structures services in 3D by using a TEKLA Structures BIM (Building Information Modeling) software. A process involving the generation and management of a digital representation of physical functional characteristics of a facility. The resulting building information model became a shared knowledge resource for decision-making.
